Increasing Air Traffic and Human Factors in the Developing Aviation Industry
On 07.11.2024 at 13:30, a panel titled Increasing Air Traffic and Human Factors in the Developing Aviation Sector was held in our college conference hall. In the event where Air Traffic Controller Selçuk KAŞ, Air Traffic Controller Fatih SEVİNÇ, Air Traffic Controller Soner YETKİN and Air Traffic Controller Emre GÖÇER were the panelists, the characteristic features that air traffic controllers should have, factors that create job stress, working without taking initiative and reporting culture in aviation were discussed in the context of human factors. The importance of English as well as the importance of being calm and not losing situational awareness were emphasized. After the panel, students' questions were answered. The panel, which students showed great interest, lasted 2 hours. Our College Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haşim KAFALI presented certificates of appreciation to the panelists.
