Aviation Management Department Students Throw Their Caps!

Our university's Aviation Management Department students experienced the excitement of graduation after a long and challenging academic process. Students who successfully completed the 2024-2025 academic year received their diplomas at a ceremony held on June 24, 2025 and took their first steps towards a new journey into the sky. The ceremony was attended by academic and administrative staff, families and many guests. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Deniz ÜLGEN also attended the ceremony and made a speech. He thanked the college staff and the families of the students for their efforts. He also emphasized the students' determination and success, and stated that a bright future awaits them in the niche field of aviation. Then, our College Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aytekin FIRAT took the podium and addressed the students, underlining the efforts they have made to reach this point. Speaking on behalf of the students, the valedictorian of the school, Şadiye Nur ÇEKİÇOĞLU, said, "We would like to thank our professors, families and friends who have been with us on this journey, we are now ready to leave our mark in every field of aviation." Following the opening speeches, certificates of achievement were presented to the students who were ranked by the academic staff. The certificate of achievement was presented to the top student of the school, Şadiye Nur ÇEKİÇOĞLU, by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Deniz ÜLGEN, the certificate of achievement was presented to the second student of the school, Gürkan KURU, by our school director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aytekin FIRAT, and the certificate of achievement was presented to the third student of our school, Semanur SIRMALI, by Çelebi Air Service Dalaman Station Manager Ebru ALTAŞ. Following the ceremony, the graduation enthusiasm reached its peak with the cap throwing ceremony and traditional photo shoots.
